2018 Spirithouse Pinot Noir

Entirely from Knudsen Vineyard, Spirithouse Pinot Noir displays the delicacy and refinement of the Dundee Hills, while exhibiting the depth and texture of the 2018 vintage. Red cherry, black tea, and savory spice open into delicate floral complexity. The silky tannins and generous weight are balanced with crisp, high elevation acidity, providing tension to the long finish. After fermentation and free run draining, the wine was allowed to age elegantly on its lees for 16 months in French oak, of which 30% were new. 

2018 Nuthouse Pinot Noir

Entirely from our Lone Star Vineyard, 2018 Nuthouse Pinot Noir highlights the structured, yet refinement of the Eola-Amity Hills. Black cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and savory herbs are buoyed by a dense core of fresh, vibrant acidity. The wine opens with sleekness and elegance while finishing with persistent, polished tannin. Cold soaking and fermenting in small, 1.5-ton fermenters enhances silky texture, while 20% whole cluster inclusion increases freshness, complexity, and length. 

2018 Cowhouse Pinot Noir

Named after Argyle's founding viticulturist, Allen Holstein, Cowhouse Pinot Noir comes from his striking  vineyard in the higher elevations of the Dundee Hills. As Allen would have it no other way, Cowhouse Pinot Noir exhibits classical Dundee Hills refinement and silky texture. Red cherry, black tea, and rose petal are woven with the savory depth and elegant length. After fermentation and gentle pressing, the wine was allowed to age elegantly on its lees for 16 months in French oak, of which 35% were new. 

This very limited release is only available in this collection. 

2017 Reserve Pinot Noir

The Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills are home to our Reserve Pinot Noir, both based in volcanic red soils, providing spicy elegance and texture. Perfumed, floral, and red cherry weave with delicate mocha and five spice. The tannins are firm, but rounded, an underlying minerality which drives the mid-palate through the long finish. While delving for pure fruit flavors and juicy acidity, we hang our phenolic hat on our trademark silky texture, which has been enhanced through cold soaking and fermenting in small, 1.5-ton fermentations.

2018 Argyle Pinot Noir

Argyle Pinot Noir highlights the elegance and complexity of the Willamette Valley, showcasing the purity of fruit and supple texture the region has to offer. Fermented entirely in small, 1.5 ton lots and plunged by hand, the 2018 vintage leans dark cherry, red raspberry, and orange zest. Fresh, vibrant acidity is framed with polished tannin along with classic Argyle silky texture and persistent length. 

2016 Argyle Vintage Brut (Included in Set Price)

The 2016 sparkling wine vintage in the Willamette Valley was generous yet refined, highlighting the alluring precision the region has to offer. Knudsen Vineyard, in the protected Dundee Hills, brings supple depth and elegance, while Spirit Hill Vineyard, in the windy confines of the Eola-Amity Hills, brings tension and mineral backbone. Fresh seashore, white peach, and toasted brioche are framed around a creamy center and long, graceful finish.
