With the majority of this vintage’s chardonnay being from our Lonestar Vineyard, the aromas of lemon verbena, slate and allspice are pronounced and forthcoming. This vibrancy is matched by aging in puncheon barrels to provide its luscious texture and oak tannin for balance and lengthy finish, making for a perfect addition to the cellar or highlighting a celebration.
Food Pairing Notes
Created in 1994, Nuthouse wines have a raison d’être, to offer a bigger and bolder, more fruit forward style of Pinot Noir that we aim for in each vintage. Nuthouse Pinot Noir is among our most age-worthy wines, cellaring for 10-15 years or more.
